Have you ever heard the phrase beans n' greens before? I hadn't until I'd entered the world of plant based food, which is funny since it's a common side dish omnivorous cuisine as well as vegan, but nonetheless I hadn't heard of it before. When I finally did start experimenting with it, I fell in love, but I did notice that a lot of recipes out there use animal stocks (like chicken) to cook the greens, and most use oil.
